Dave's interest
in All Things Visual started as a kid barrowing Dad's Polaroid, later as a teenager in a school photography class with a used
Canon SLR, plus a lifelong passion for classic airliners.
VisApp.net is the result of a few decades of Dave's
marketing experience, including record promotion in Miami, commercials and documentary TV production in Baltimore, D.C. -
earning him an EMMY® nod for the PBS doc "All About Zora," Miami, Nashville and Philadelphia.
Among his TV creations:
These days he lives mostly in print - of all things - practicing his craft with clients worldwide
from the U.S. to Europe and Australia. It's earned him a couple ADDY® awards from the AdFed of Greater Fort
Lauderdale...his most recent for the "Tapped" movie poster from the producers of "Who Killed the Electric Car?"
and "I.O.U.S.A."
He's a
member of the National Press Photographers Association. And, although having long since surrendered his private pilot's
license, you'll still find him planespotting with a 300mm Nikkor at FLL, MIA or PBI.
Dave's also an HIV survivor
of nearly 20 years - a temporal distiction shared with the more athletically-inclined Magic Johnson and Greg Louganis. But he's still known to smoke, drink and cuss. Goodie-goodies,
take note!
